What a crazy time it has been in the world!!

Sadly, we lost a few friends.
Our hearts and prayers go to all those who lost loved ones.

To keep our sanity we have been going on
 local trips around Arizona.
We hope you enjoy some Arizona photos!
is just a few miles south from our place in Green Valley.
Click on the link to find out more.
Saguaro National Park is one of our favorite places
to see blooms and wildlife like the Gila Monster below.
More exciting Gila Monster stories in upcoming blogs!
The desert can be a beautiful place. It still amazes us
that the cactus can produce such large beautiful flowers!
In Ironwood Forest National Monument we found
a very unusual Saguaro with over 40 arms
and a Red Tail Hawk.
Saguaro blooms from the top using my camera on a pole.
This cute guy came to visit us in our back yard.
Look close to see how he is keeping his back feet cool.
It is fun to watch the hummingbirds in our yard.
Like most communities we were there to cheer

on the front line workers during the pandemic.
Charron Winery is about 40 minutes to the east and is
higher in elevation, which is a fantastic little spot to hang out.

Scott was able to have surgery on his right wrist
which took several months to recover.

It was great to sit on the deck and watch
one of the monsoon storms!
To celebrate Scott & Joel's birthdays
we rented a jeep in Sedona for the day.
I think you can tell the guys were having a fantastic time!!
The round formation you see is the Merry Go Round Rock.
It is up Schnebly Hill east of Sedona.
This road was a challenge even in the Jeep!
We sold our RV early in 2020 but still wanted to travel
so several months later we bought a Ram Promaster van.
Over the next five months we did our own camper van build.
More about that process next time!

We would love to hear what you did in 2020!
